JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A St. Augustine mother says she finally feels a sense of relief knowing the man convicted of sexually abusing her daughter is back behind bars.

Lynn Salvatore says her daughter was just 14 years old when she came forward with the abuse, revealing it was done by a trusted neighbor, someone the family had once considered a friend.

“When she was 14 years old, she disclosed significant amounts of abuse,” said Salvatore. “He was also the father of two of her little friends that she would visit on a regular basis.”

59-year-old Ethan Todd was convicted in 2018 on two counts of sexual battery and two counts of lewd or lascivious molestation. He was sentenced to three and a half years in prison followed by five years of probation. Todd is also required to register as a sex o
