The Srimandir Security Committee has decided to implement a complete ban on mobile phones inside the Jagannath Temple in Puri.
Even police personnel and servitors will not be allowed to carry phones within the premises.
Committee chief Girish Chandra Murmu announced the decision after a high-level meeting focused on enhancing security inside and around the temple. To ensure smooth communication, authorities will introduce a walkie-talkie system for essential coordination.
