A missing woman from Oxford may have travelled into Devon, police say.

Melissa, 51, was last seen in Cowley at approximately 8pm on Tuesday, October 7.

Thames Valley Police in Oxfordshire said she may have travelled to Devon, specifically around the Dartmouth and Exeter areas.

She is missing with her dog, a small brown Chihuahua, which will have a harness on.

Melissa is described as 4ft 11ins with black hair and may have glasses on.

She usually wears a black waterproof jacket and trousers.
