LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A day after the same man was indicted for three murders in Jefferson County, a different Jefferson County homicide case is getting attention.

Officials revealed that the case is connected to a Bullitt County investigation.

Police apparently wanted to question a man, who was shot to death in 2024, about a woman who was also shot to death and left on the side of the road in 2023.

Nicholas Wedding was killed in May 2024. Nathan Short is accused of fatally shooting him.

But on Monday in Short’s case, the prosecutor said Bullitt County called Wedding a person of interest in a 2023 murder case they haven’t been able to solve.
