Hartford police are investigating a shooting that took place on Ward Street on Tuesday night.

While officers were at the scene, a 17-year-old man arrived at CT Children’s Medical Center for treatment of a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

A second victim, an 18-year-old female was transported to the hospital in a private car, but it remains unknown if her injury was a result of the shooting. She was listed in stable condition, police said.

Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene and have begun an investigation.
