MARION, Ohio — Appliance manufacturer Whirlpool announced on Wednesday a $300 million investment in two of its Ohio facilities.
Whirlpool says the investment will create between 400 and 600 new jobs across the company’s operations in Marion and Clyde.
The Michigan-based company says there will be increased production of its next generation of washers and dryers, while also supporting 5,000 additional jobs outside of the company.
