ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - High pressure and clear skies dominate throughout the region. Temperatures are in the 30s to start off, and warm into the 50s this afternoon. There may be some more frost could be around overnight as we get another clear night. It is a sunny start Friday with clouds increasing throughout the day.
An isolated pre-frontal shower will be possible here, but most are missed. We should get well into the 60s through the afternoon. A ball of energy along the front that develops into lower pressure swings into the Great Lakes early Sunday, whipping up winds for the second half of the weekend. Rain looks like it will stall out here, not advancing eastward until late Sunday into Monday.
There are questions on how the following week turns out, but rain does look to wrap around
