WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — Wethersfield police say a woman was forcibly pulled from her car during a carjacking Wednesday night.

Police said they responded to the Berlin Turnpike Stop & Shop's parking lot around 10:05 p.m., for report of the carjacking.

Preliminary investigation showed an adult male pulled the woman out from the driver seat of her gray Buick Lacrosse with a Connecticut license plate number of BN00701.

The suspect was then seen driving east on Jordan Lane, then north towards Maple Avenue in Hartford. He was described by police as standing about 5 feet and 10 inches tall and wearing a beige hooded sweatshirt and camouflage pants.
