RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — Thousands of people are pouring into Raleigh Thursday for the opening of the North Carolina State Fair and the sold-out Billie Eilish concert at the Lenovo Center, but this time, traffic is moving.

It's a big turnaround from Tuesday night's Chris Brown concert chaos when hours of gridlock forced some fans to abandon their cars and walk the final mile to the venue. Others missed the show entirely.

"I was talking online with people who are coming in now and they're saying it's ramping up," said Emma Grace Alford, who arrived early for the concert. "I saw clips of the Chris Brown show the other night and people having to walk to the venue and try to rush to make it in. I'm glad that I beat the traffic.
