A 66-year-old Lakeville man was killed Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash on a rural road, police said.
The man, whose name authorities did not release, was pronounced dead at a local hospital following the crash around 7 p.m. on County Street, according to the Lakeville Police Department.
The man had been driving one of the vehicles involved in the collision, police said. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle were both hospitalized with injuries police described as not life-threatening.
Lakeville police officers are investigating the crash alongside the Massachusetts State Police, the department said.
Officials did not specify what may have caused the crash.
No additional information on the incident was released.
