A Massachusetts man died when his car crashed off a New Hampshire highway following a high-speed chase early Sunday morning, police said.
Benjamin Tapia Gately reached 120 mph while being pursued by New Hampshire State Police, who'd tried to pull his speeding car over on Interstate 93 in the Concord area about 12:51 a.m., the agency said.

The car didn't stop until Tapia Gately tried to take an off-ramp at Exit 18, in Canterbury, and lost control, traveling down an embankment and hitting a tree, according to police.
Tapia Gately, a 20-year-old from Saugus, was thrown from the car and pronounced dead at the scene, despite first responders attempting to save his life, police said. No one else was in the car.
