A van has flipped into a field in a horror crash in a Scots town. ‌

Emergency services raced to the collision on the B6371, near Tranent in East Lothian , at around 11am on Monday. ‌

Crews attended and the female driver was checked over by paramedics. ‌

The van involved in the collision - a dog walking business van - was pictured on its side with the roof, doors and bonnet crumpled. ‌

It is understood the roof was cut away by firefighters.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.45am on Monday, 20 October, we received a report of a one-vehicle crash on Ormiston Road in Tranent.
