1,200+ Consumers customers lose power

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- Around 1,200 Consumers Energy customers in Delhi Township lost power Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Consumers outage map, a large portion of Delhi Township centered west of Holt, extending from E Willoughby Road in the north to Burchfield Park in the south has lost power.

Consumers lists the cause of the outage as an "equipment issue" but did not provide further details beyond that.

At this time, crews have been assigned to deal with the outage, which was first reported at 2:05 p.m.

The estimated time of restoration is 7:45 p.m.
