MINNEAPOLIS — After the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church at the start of the school year, there was an outpouring of community support, including blue and green ribbons being hung on trees.
As the seasons change, city officials say the bows need to come down. However, they do not need to be thrown out.
Bows of Love, the group that organized the efforts to hang the bows across the city, is now taking the bows back. The plan is to use them as part of a future memorial.
