CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Center City Public Safety Task Force will hold a press conference about public safety initiatives in Charlotte, and the Uptown Vibrancy Collaborative and Ambassador Program.

The group was scheduled to speak at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23.

The task force was formed in July and comprised of Charlotte, Mecklenburg County, business, healthcare, and police leaders.
