WALNUT COVE, N.C. — A Walnut Cove man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he fired bullets into a home in Rural Hall earlier this month.
According to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 1100 block of Pullman Drive on October 10 after a homeowner reported their house had been shot up.
Detectives learned the shooting was connected to a similar incident at the Walmart in King, officials said. Investigators believe both incidents were acts of retaliation after the suspect’s girlfriend was fired from her job.
Deputies charged 72-year-old Larry Keaton Brown of Walnut Cove with eight counts of discharging a firearm into an occupied property and one count of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.
Brown is in jail without bond on relat
