CLEARFIELD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Multiple fire crews were called out Saturday morning to a residence on fire in Cooper Township.

According to Morris Township Volunteer Fire Company's Facebook post, crews were called out to the scene around 4 a.m. after a call came in for a house fire on the 400 block of Birch Street. Crews say flames were coming from both the front and rear sides of the home.

EMS was requested for the occupants of the home due to suspected smoke inhalation, and due to some of the injuries sustained, medical helicopters were requested for a male adult and a child.

Authorities say two family pets were found in the home, but unfortunately, they passed away due to smoke inhalation.
