BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - You’re waking up to day 28 of the federal government shutdown with peak holiday travel season closing in. If you’re an air traveler, this can be a stressful time.
Some airports nationwide are feeling the effects of the government shutdown. LAX, for example, is currently experiencing an average of 38-minute arrival delays. Memphis International is currently experiencing departure delays an average of 25 minutes. On Monday, airport disruptions continued around the country with nearly 7,000 flights delayed, according to the website FlightAware.
