LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) -- The Michigan Families for Fair Care, Sierra Club Michigan, and the Climate Action Campaign will host a protest outside U.S. Rep. Tom Barrett's (MI-07) office on Thursday afternoon to express their concerns about the bill's impact on climate and clean energy funding.

The protest will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Participants say they will wear Halloween costumes to highlight their disappointment with Barrett's support for the bill, which they refer to as the "Big Ugly Bill."
