MOLINE, ill. (KWQC) - The Quad Cities Chamber hosted its second annual Minority Business Summit at Vibrant Arena, bringing together entrepreneurs and business owners for education and networking opportunities.
James Porter, who leads the Chamber’s minority business initiatives, said the summit focuses on inspiring entrepreneurs who may have faced rejection.
“It’s an amazing feeling just to see so many entrepreneurs and young business owners come together for a day of education and learning. This is my baby,” Porter said. “We’re looking to inspire that young entrepreneur who maybe heard a no here, just talking about different ways to connect and build those relationships.”
