MANCHESTER, N.H. —
People in New Hampshire who have loved ones in Jamaica are waiting for updates from the country after Hurricane Melissa stormed across the island.
Entire neighborhoods in Jamaica are covered in debris, and many homes have lost their roofs.
Jamaican national Suan Lewis-Briscoe is waiting to hear from all her loved ones. She knows her three children are OK, but the damage to her home was catastrophic.
"My house, the upstairs – it's gone over the other side," she said. "Part of is caved in. The kids were in the house. Inside is also flooded in there."
