NEW MEXICO (KRQE) - Very clear skies, dry air, and less-gusty east-gap winds have once again led to below-normal low temperatures across the region with little to no fog in eastern to northern areas.

Below-freezing temperatures are confined to many areas in the northern third of the region into western areas, while everywhere else from central areas of the Rio Grande Valley to the south is mostly ranging from the upper 20s to the 30s.

Sunshine today will still remain with closer-to-normal temperatures in central to northern areas while below-normal temperatures will remain in southern areas. Areas to the north will range from the 50s to the 60s, while high 60s and 70s will develop from the south-central parts of the Rio Grande Valley to southern areas.
