DUNWOODY, Ga. — A gas leak in Dunwoody impacting the busy Chamblee Dunwoody Road has been repaired, police reported Thursday afternoon, though a road closure remains in place for now.

According to a Dunwoody Police Department post at about 12:45 p.m., the closure on Chamblee Dunwoody Road is continuing to extend from Wynterhall Drive to Roberts Drive.

The post detailed accessibility situations for three subdivisions: "Residents of the Wynterhall subdivision can now access their homes. Fairfield subdivision residents must enter from the Roberts Drive/Chamblee Dunwoody side. No traffic is permitted in or out of Magnolia Walk subdivision for now, as the roadway was excavated to complete the gas leak repair."

It's unclear when the road may fully reopen.
