ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Three people from the St. Louis area will be among 456 contestants competing in the next “Squid Games” reality challenge.

“Squid Game: The Challenge” features 456 real-life people competing in games based on the original Netflix series. The first four episodes of season two drop on Netflix next Tuesday.

Two contestants, John Bracamontes and Mindy Jenkins, are from Edwardsville, and one, August Schroeder, is from St. Louis.

One person will take home $4.56 million.
