MINOT, ND (KXNET) — Tomorrow is Halloween, which means kids and families will be out and about in the community, and the Minot Police Department has some tips on how to make sure everyone gets home safe.
Halloween night means more kids out on the streets, and that means it's time to think about safety. The Minot PD is reminding families of a few simple ways to make sure the night stays fun and safe.
"We recommend that kids wear something comfortable for their costumes, possibly recommending some reflective material. That way, they are more visible at night," Senior Officer Alexander Harrington said. "We recommend that they dress appropriately for the weather to ensure that they stay warm and comfortable.
