MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating after a man's body was discovered at an abandoned garage in Tennessee on Sunday.

The family of Robert Grove, who has been missing for nearly a week, fears it may be him.

When NewsNation affiliate WREG arrived, police were not on the scene, but Grove's family and friends were at the location.

“We appreciate everybody who came out here looked, and I know it's a close area where we all have been up and walking up and down the street. We've all been in this area," his sister, Racquel Jackson, shared. "I don't want nobody to beat themselves up for not finding him."

She thanked friends, family and the Memphis community who spent the last week looking for her brother after his Chevrolet Avalanche was found covered in blood last Monday at an apartment
