PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- A multi-vehicle crash has blocked westbound traffic on the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge between Paducah, Kentucky, and Metropolis, Illinois on Monday afternoon.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said emergency crews responded to the scene, and there is no estimated duration for the traffic blockage in the westbound lanes.

Travelers should prepare for delays and consider using the Brookport Bridge as a detour, which is available for passenger vehicles only.
