A multi-vehicle crash blocked traffic on Monday afternoon along Interstate 24.

The crash occurred just before 12:30 p.m. on Monday at the I-24 Ohio River Bridge and involved several vehicles. One witness told West Kentucky Star that it involved at least 3 vehicles. Traffic was backed up at times to near Hinkleville Road, exit 4, near Kentucky Oaks Mall.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet did not have an estimate on when the road would be clear. They did remind travelers that semis are not allowed on the Brookport Bridge.
