Fierce wind gusts blasted across New Jersey overnight, knocking out power to more than 10,000 homes and businesses as of Thursday morning.
The highest recorded wind speed was 55 mph at High Point Monument in Sussex County, while Cape May Harbor saw gusts of 53 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast for Thursday calls for cold, breezy conditions with gusts up to 30 mph.
High temperatures will reach only the low 50s, which is about 5 degrees below normal for early November.

Atlantic City - 47 mph at 11:27 p.m.
Pleasantville Point - 46 mph at 1:59 a.m.
Burlington County
