CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) -- The Chesapeake Police Department requests the public's help in identifying a suspect in a robbery that took place at Southern Bank Friday morning.

According to Chesapeake Police, officers responded to the Southern Bank's location in the 3300 block of Western Branch Boulevard for a robbery at around 10:14 a.m. on Nov. 7.

The suspect is a Black man who left the scene with an unknown amount of money.

This investigation is still ongoing.
