PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) -- A man was injured in a shooting on Afton Parkway Saturday morning, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.

On Nov. 8 at around 2:54 a.m., Portsmouth Police responded to a call for a shooting in the 80 block of Afton Parkway. After arriving, Officers found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The investigation is still ongoing.
