JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After 34 days of "intense rehabilitation," Florida State University freshman linebacker Ethan Pritchard has been released from Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville.
Pritchard was shot in the back of the head following FSU's season opener in August.
In October, Pritchard was released from Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and moved to Brooks Rehabilitation for the next stage in his recovery.
Thursday afternoon, Brooks shared a heartwarming video of Pritchard leaving the facility, all while being showered with love from family, friends and staff.
Brooks said in a Facebook post that Pritchard is now "onto the next stage of his recovery!"
