A drunk driver killed a grandad in a 91-mile-an-hour smash .
Callum Fox, 29, struck pedestrian Jim Paterson, 63, in Paisley in the early hours of November 27 2022.
Fox - who was described as "really drunk" - had earlier been at a cocktail bar with friends and ignored a plea for him not to drive.
However, Fox got behind the wheel of his Mercedes AMG A45 to go to a house party while two-and-a-half times over the limit.
Jim was heading home after a "curry night" with his friend and cousin when he encountered speeding Fox as he crossed the road.
Dad-of-three Jim - who was married for 46 years - unfortunately lost his life at the scene.
First offender Fox pleaded guilty today, Monday, November 17 at the High Court in Glasgow to causing death by danger
