A 'restricted patient' who escaped while attending a dentist appointment in Ayrshire has been found following a police search. ‌

Owen Bonner managed to get away while on an 'escorted suspension of detention' during the appointment on November 13. ‌

Police warned the public not to approach him after releasing a description. He was described by the force as being 5ft 11in tall, of medium build with short grey receding hair, pale complexion and blue eyes. ‌

At the appointment, he was last seen wearing a white Milano jumper, white baggy Milano jogging trousers, white Nike training shoes and a white woolly hat. It was thought that he may also have had access to a green and white Celtic football top and a red gilet

Police Scotland confirmed today he has been traced.
