Four people, including two infants, were saved from a car that crashed and flipped onto its side overnight in Chattanooga.

The crash happened on Alton Park Boulevard around 1:30am on Monday, November 17, according to the Chattanooga Fire Department. Close

Bystanders rescued the two infants from the vehicle before firefighters arrived.

When Chattanooga firefighters arrived, they found two adults inside the car: one awake and one unconscious.

Firefighters extricated them from the car within 15 minutes.

One of the adults in the crash had a possibly fractured arm and the other had a head injury.

Hamilton County EMS took them to local hospitals.

The fire department did not specify what caused the crash.
