NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting reported near the intersection of Music Street and North Johnson Street early Friday.

According to initial information, an adult man was found with at least one gunshot wound to his body. EMS transported him to a local hospital for treatment. Police said the notification was made at 12 a.m.

No additional details were released.
