PARKVILLE, Mo. (KCTV) - A Parkville man, previously convicted of child sex trafficking, was found guilty of sodomy and domestic assault in the first degree.

Donald Elbert, 40, was also charged with delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.

The jury found Elbert guilty of forcibly sodomizing and brutally assaulting a 30-year-old woman in their home on November 24, 2024.

“This defendant is a dangerous repeat offender who has hurt too many people on too many occasions. It is only right that he will spend the next several decades in prison where he cannot hurt anyone again,” Platte County Prosecuting Attorney Eric Zahnd said.

Elbert had been convicted of two prior felonies before his Platte County offenses.
