NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - A man is facing decades behind bars after he contacted and groomed a 12-year-old Tennessee girl on her school-issued device.
The Sumner County District Attorney General said Omar Malik Lundy, 30, was convicted of attempted rape of a child, assault, two counts of aggravated assault and solicitation of a minor to commit rape of a child. The “shocking case” culminated in a conviction on Wednesday after a three-day trial.
Lundy first contacted the girl by commenting on a YouTube video she posted using a school-issued tablet. He was posing as a 15-year-old.
