PADUCAH, Ky. (WSIL) -- The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has announced ongoing work zone construction and long-term maintenance activities in District 1.

Ballard County

Reduced speed limit on U.S. 60 in Ballard and McCracken counties; 35 and 45 mph in work zones. A temporary diversion is in place near MP 1 on U.S. 60 in McCracken County. Part of the U.S. 60 realignment project near Kevil. The overall estimated completion date is November 7, 2026.

Carlisle County

A lane restriction is in effect along U.S. 51 near MP 1.7 just north of Arlington, for the construction of a new bridge. One lane traffic with alternating flow and a 10-foot width restriction. Access to Railroad Street also closed near U.S. 51. Estimated proje
