LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - We can still expect cold temperatures this winter, but recent trends show that winters have been getting warmer.
Meteorological winter, which spans from December to February, is warming faster than any other season in the United States.
With La Niña in the Pacific Ocean expected to persist through the Winter, the southern and eastern United States are likely to experience a warmer-than-normal season. While areas further north could see wetter than average conditions.
