As the holiday season approaches, many of us take a moment to reflect on what truly matters: family, friends, a roof over our heads, and a warm meal at the end of the day.

In this season, I find myself thankful for our community. For the people who show up for each other, for the organizations that quietly fill the gaps, and for the neighbors who help neighbors.

But this year, we were also reminded of a harder truth. The nonprofits that mean the most to us can only survive if we support them. And in the Interior, we are seeing our longstanding organizations close their doors, not because the need has gone away, but because community support has.
