OMAHA, Neb. —
A man convicted in the shooting death of a 30-year-old Omaha man will serve decades behind bars.
Warren Muse, who pleaded no contest to two counts of accessory to a felony, was sentenced to 38 to 40 years in prison.
Muse was arrested on a first-degree murder charge in April 2024 after the death of Artrell Evans.

Omaha police said Evans was found shot inside a vehicle near 24th and Ohio streets. He died at the hospital. Three others were arrested alongside Muse.
Pierre Jones-Woods and Krishna Johnigan both face first-degree murder charges. India Johnston is charged as an accessory.
The other three suspects in the case are currently moving through the district court process.
