Ihave a friend who lives in Uganda. His name is Herbert Mugerwa. Herbert is a caretaker/pastor for an entire community of 100 or so called Buyana Village just west of Kampala. Herbert is the most thankful, peaceful man I know.
I asked him the other day if they celebrate Thanksgiving in Uganda and whether he ever had turkey before. Well, he said no, so I offered to arrange shipment of a bird to him. Just the gesture of offering to send him one made his day. Talk about knowing the importance of gratitude.
