Well that saves everyone a lot of headaches.
What initially appeared to be the disturbing discovery of a human skull buried in concrete on a Boston pier has been determined to be fake, officials said.
The object was found encased in concrete at the Black Falcon Terminal on Thursday while workers were sawcutting along the pier, the Suffolk District Attorney’s office told NBC10 Boston .
But on Monday, the office of the Chief Medical Examiner confirmed the skull is fake, Tina Nguyen, a spokesperson for the district attorney’s office, said.
No further information was immediately released.
