LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Hundreds of customers were without power in southern Indiana this Wednesday.
Duke Energy's outage map showed the outage was first reported just before 6:40 a.m., and that it was caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging their equipment.
A total of 8,668 customers were without power initially, according to the energy company.
Crews have been out working to restore power, and as of 11:03 a.m., six customers are still without power.
The outage was in eastern Jeffersonville and extends towards Utica and Cementville, according to the map.
Duke Energy said the estimated time of restoration is about 1:45 p.m.
