A body has reportedly been found in the grounds of a school. The discovery of the man's body has prompted the response of multiple officers.

The discovery was made early this morning (Thursday, November 27) in Leicestershire, in the same road as an infant's school.

Police said they had received reports of the body being found at around 7.30am, at Townend Road in Barwell, LeicestershireLive reports.

The find was made in the same road as Barwell Infant School, with forensic teams currently at the scene. Uniformed officers are also in the area.

There were reportedly four police cars with two PSCOs standing guard at the school's gate.
