Police have seized a massive drugs haul and arrested two men in connection with cultivating over £1 million of cannabis in West Lothian.

The officers attended a premises in the Redmill area of East Whitburn on Thursday, November 27 and discovered a cannabis operation with 1000-1200 plants. They estimated the street value was over £1 million.

Two men aged 47 and 44 have been arrested and charged in connection. Enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.

A release from Police Scotland reads: "Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with a drugs recovery worth over £1 million in West Lothian.
