A man has been left with a facial injury after allegedly being assaulted by a group of men at a hotel in Westhill .

Emergency services were called to the Hampton hotel in the Gordon Park area at around 10.45am on Friday, November 28, following a report of an assault.

A 26-year-old was allegedly attacked by a group of men and suffered a facial injury, with a weapon recovered by police at the scene.

Three men have since been arrested in connection with the incident, and enquiries are currently ongoing.

Police have reassured locals that the incident was contained and there is not believed to be any wider risk to the public.
