An Edinburgh man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing at Fort Kinnaird on Saturday morning.

Around 9.30am on November 29, police rushed to Newcraighall Road after reports of an injured man.

It's understood a large police response was in attendance near to Safestore Self Storage at the retail park.

A 22-year-old was taken to hospital. Officers remain at the scene and confirmed inquiries are ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.30am on Saturday, 29 November, 2025, we received a report of an injured man on Newcraighall Road in Edinburgh.

“Emergency services attended and the 22-year-old was taken to hospital for treatment.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
