MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - As we wrap up the holiday weekend, snow is coming to an end this morning from west to east. A First Alert Day remains in place as winds will strengthen from the northwest behind our departing low-pressure system. This will result in areas of blowing/drifting snow that could slow road cleanup. A Winter Weather Advisory for blowing snow began at 6 AM and replaced the expired Winter Storm Warning. The advisory lasts through noon west of Highway 26 and until 3 PM east of Highway 26.
